Manuel Piñero, with a well known international prestige, and his team “Target Ingenieros” have been in charge of the enlargement and renewing of the Links Course (2005) and the North Course (2006), where the most impressive attractions are the two water hazards on the 3º, 4º and 5º holes of the Links or the landscape of the 3º hole in the North Course.
 
The Golf Course project got along very well with the Island vegetation and the natural morphological features of the soil has been exploited in a way that has taken out the best of its beauty and singularity. Holes have been improved, having now, rounds more complex and with incredible sights.
 
The result has been a real success, and well accepted by the Golf del Sur clients playing there since last October 2005. Those, who have not been playing at Golf del Sur in a long time, have found other changes such as the two putting-chipping greens, one next to the driving range and the other in front of the Club House, as well as the access tunnel to the North Course and a buggies garage with 80 parking spaces for the electrical units with GPS system, recently bought, or the new golf course machinery.
